KIDS (Kottapuram Integrated Development Society) an NGO based out of the famous weaving cluster of Kerala, has been working towards sustaining and reviving the livelihoods of scattered weaving artisans of Kerala. The area being rich in screwpine and water hyacinth has given rise to creation of beautiful products of home decor made out of these natural fibres coming in various colours and shades. Along with promoting the traditional artisans, KIDS also provides skill development support to the local women and specially abled individuals of Kottapuram to earn a dignified livelihood through the craft form.
